Daffodil University students clashed with locals [Daffodil University | Savar, Dhaka]

 Daffodil University in Savar had a massive clash between locals and students. The institution has been vandalized.

The students said that announcements were made on the microphone from different mosques on Sunday night for the residents to gather. The villagers gathered and vandalized the residential building of the educational institution. Some students were injured. However, according to the villagers, they united to resist the attack of the students.

Additional police have been deployed in the university area to control the situation.

Students said that a student of Daffodil University named Hasibul Hasan Antar was kidnapped and beaten up on October 23.He died last Thursday while undergoing treatment. Since then there has been tension among the locals.
